As key port operating vessels, this electric tugboat undertakes intensive tasks such as berthing assistance and vessel scheduling in Lianyungang waters. Its cooling pipeline system is constantly threatened by fouling organisms including barnacles and mussels. According to the vessel operation department of the group, vessels without ultrasonic devices require nearly ten thousand RMB monthly for pipeline dredging. In severe cases, cooling system blockage will interrupt operation.

The successfully delivered ultrasonic antifouling system innovates marine antifouling technology. Composed of control unit and high-frequency transducers, low-power pulsed sound waves are emitted via pipeline-mounted transducers, turning pipelines into acoustic plates to spread vibration energy. The vibration disrupts algal and microbial cell structures, inhibiting biofilm formation at source and eliminating conditions for large fouling organisms attachment, achieving long-term clean antifouling protection.
